This is a repeat point from a child post I made but it keeps coming up as another mate asked me if this is worth getting into.

I've played some single player and enjoyed learning GalCiv3. I'd love to get my friends to buy into this game as I know at least one of them was a massive galciv 2 fan. What's stopping me is everytime I look up galciv 3 multiplayer all I find are people begging Stardock to fix it... Which doesn't fill me with the confidence to get friends to drop a lotta money on a game only to find out a fair few hours later the time invested has gone to waste and they possibly need to fight with steam refunds.

It's lame to be saying "yeah I'm having fun with this game so far.. But no I can't recommend it I hear the AI can't handle its own econ past the mid game and the multiplayer has consistent issues so we can't play together"

Maybe Stardock could organise a multiplayer stream with community members? That'd certainly prove the games stability along with me having some fresh multiplayer content to point people to when they ask about it. Seems like a good move when an expansion is on the way.

Thoughts?
